Advanced Map Options in the Navionics Boating App

Map Options are accessible with an active subscription, and allow you to customize your map display and highlight the most important map features. First select desired units of measurement in Settings.

NOTE: If GOVT chart is selected you are not able to see Map Options in Menu.

Features include:

• Map Overlays: Satellite Imagery, Relief Shading, Sonar Imagery
• Map Color Mode: Switch between day and night map mode, or set it to automatically adjust with your device settings
• Shallow Area:  Highlight shallow and potentially hazardous areas on the map in a red warning color (red marks)
• Depth Contours:  Specify which bathymetric lines are shown on the map
• Depth Shading: Depth areas are displayed in different shades of blue
• Water Level:  Adjust shoreline and depths to the current water levels
• Fishing Ranges: Customize and display on the map up to 5 depth ranges with the SonarChart™ layer enabled
• SonarChart Density: Increase or decrease bottom contour density with SonarChart enabled
• Seabed Areas:  Reveals underlying seabed composition (for select U.S. HD lakes, offshore coastline of Europe, including the Mediterranean and Black Sea, Azores Islands, Madeira and the Canary Islands)
