Deleting the Garmin Messenger Account and App
If you plan to stop using the Garmin Messenger™ app, it is important to follow the steps below to delete your Garmin Messenger account before uninstalling the app. This signs you out of the app and disconnects your phone number from the app to prevent any potential messaging issues once the app has been uninstalled. Deleting your Garmin Messenger account will not affect your inReach account or subscription.
In the Garmin Messenger app, tap the profile icon or
in the top left.Select Accounts.
Select Manage Garmin Messenger Account.
Select Delete Garmin Messenger Account.
Select Delete Account.
After completing the above steps you can close out of the app and uninstall it.
