Searching Near a Different Location on the Tread Overland Edition

By default, your device searches near your current location. If your device cannot find the destination you have entered, it may be searching in the wrong area.

To Search Near a Different Location:

1. Touch Where To

2. Touch the Searching Near field

3. Touch the preferred option in the list (scroll up or down to see all options)

Available Options:

Where I Am Now Searches near your current location (this is the default setting)

A Different City Searches near a specific city you enter

Recent Destination Searches near a recently found location listed in the device's Recent menu

Saved Place Searches near a location from the device's Saved menu

My Active Route¹ Searches along your currently active route

My Destination¹ Searches along the currently active route, but starts near the destination and works backward along the route

To begin searching near your current location once again, simply return to the main menu to restore the default setting.

¹These options are only available when you have entered a destination and your device is currently navigating an active route.

If the errors "No Matches Found" or "Cannot Find Search Results" continue to appear when searching for a destination, try the following steps in order:

• Verify Maps are Enabled on the Tread Overland and Tread XL Overland

• Verifying Maps Installed on the Tread Overland Edition and Tread XL Overland Edition

• Correctly Spelling and Formatting Destinations

• Difficulty Locating Destinations in Another Country
