Garmin Connect App Bluetooth Troubleshooting

Review the following checklist for additional troubleshooting steps to take.

  1. Make sure Battery Saver or Expedition Mode is not enabled on your Garmin device. These settings can disable Bluetooth.

  2. Confirm your Garmin device is not paired to more that one smartphone or tablet

  3. Check and confirm that you are running the latest version of the Garmin Connect app.

  4. Confirm software on the Garmin device is up to date.

    • Use Garmin Express™ software from a personal computer which will automatically check for and install available software updates.

  5. Check for and install any available updates for your phone.

    • Consult your phone manufacturer for assistance if needed.

  6. Review the following to confirm your phone meets our minimum system requirements.
