Reviewing Running Power Data on Garmin Connect After a Run
Garmin Connect will display charts, average power, and splits from any activity uploaded where any of the Garmin Running Power apps were used.
If running power is not being displayed, check the following:
- A running power data field has been added to one of the data screens in a compatible Run activity. For running power to be logged during the run, it must be an active data field.
For more information on adding a data field, see your owner's manual. - You are using a Run activity with a running power data field. The running power data field must be added to each different type of running activity type you wish to see running power on.
- A Running Dynamics accessory is connected during the run. If running dynamics are not displayed on Garmin Connect or the Garmin Connect app, this indicates that a running dynamics accessory was not connected. For more information, see I Am Not Receiving Running Dynamics Data from the Running Dynamics Pod During an Activity.
- Check the “Write power data to file” app settings for the running power app. This setting needs to be enabled for the running power data field that is active on your run. For more information on how to check this, see How to Access the Settings of Downloaded Connect IQ Content Using the Garmin Connect App.
For more information on the write power data to file setting, see Write Power Data to File Setting in Garmin Running Power Apps.
