My Garmin Watch Vibrates and Displays a Notification as I Take Steps

If you install a step counter or pedometer app to your smartphone there is a chance that the app is enabled for notifications in the Garmin Connect™ app. This may cause your watch to vibrate and repeatedly display a notification as the app detects steps.
