Leaving Bark Limiting Products on Dogs While They are Eating

Products like the BarkLimiter™, Delta®/Delta® XC* systems and Pro Series systems have been designed to detect and correct barks automatically. To prevent discomfort to a dog while it is eating, removal of the collar is recommended. This can be coordinated with the eight hour break every dog should receive from the collar as indicated in the owner’s manual.

As an alternative you can ensure the Delta/Delta XC or Pro Series dog device is not in BarkLimiter mode before feeding the dog. The BarkLimiter or BarkLimiter Deluxe models should still be removed when the dog is eating.

*The standard Delta, Delta XC, and Delta SE dog training systems do not have the BarkLimiter feature.
