Not receiving traffic on a nüvi® 1490TV

The nüvi® 1490TV comes with a GTM 35 traffic receiver. In order to receive traffic alerts while navigating, plug the additional antenna into the GTM 35. This additional antenna comes supplied in the box.

The additional antenna has two suction mounts connected to it that allows you to attach the wire to your windscreen. Connect the additional antenna to the hard plastic rectangular part of the main vehicle power lead, where a small socket will be visible and the additional antenna can be inserted into.
