Why Am I Seeing a Location Needed Message on My Watch When I Try to Use Amazon Music?

If you have never started a GPS activity or if the battery on the watch fully discharges, you may see a message that asks you to enable GPS by choosing an outdoor activity. This requirement will allow the watch to confirm the current date and time. To confirm this requirement:

1. Step outside for an open view of the sky.

2. Access the activity list on the watch and select an outdoor activity type, such as running.

3. Wait a few moments for the watch to acquire a GPS signal.

You will know when the watch has acquired a signal by the messaging on the watch. Once this is complete you can access the Amazon Music app.
