Supplemental Garmin Marine Chart Feature Compatibility

NOTE: Chartplotters with built-in Garmin Navionics+™ charts are compatible with BlueChart® g3 charts or BlueChart® g3 Vision charts; however, the map content will only display if the built-in map region does not cover the area. An example: GPSMAP 1243xsv chartplotter with built-in Garmin Navionics+ could use a BlueChart g3 vision card for the Caribbean, but it would not utilize the Puget Sound to San Diego as the built-in Garmin Navionics+ would cover that region. 

Supplemental Chart Features and Compatibility 

Garmin offers supplemental maps that differ from the built-in maps by adding additional regions not included on the built-in map or extra features like those on the vision charts. Supplemental charts display priority over the built-in maps when areas overlap.

The following chartplotters are fully compatible with all features of the Garmin Navionics+™ and Garmin Navionics Vision+™ Cards. Some chart features of BlueChart® g3, BlueChart® g3 Vision, LakeVü™ g3, and LakeVü™ g3 Ultra are not compatible with all Garmin chartplotters and handhelds.
