View Traffic Information on Compatible Kenwood Devices

If you would like to view traffic in a specific area or just in general, please follow the instructions below:

  1. Power the Kenwood on
  2. Access the Navigation screen which can be found by pressing the NAV button or on some units the V.SEL button
  3. Touch View Map
  4. Touch the Traffic Icon (Icon with two cars)

Within this section you will be able to see all traffic within the coverage of your subscription.

The traffic incidents will provide a traffic symbol depicting the reason behind the traffic and also a color code showing the severity of the traffic:

  • Green = Low severity; traffic is slow but moving.
  • Yellow = Medium severity; traffic is a bit congested with occasional stops.
  • Red = High severity; traffic is heavily congested or stopped.

If you would like to view a specific traffic incident in more detail, simply select the one which you wish to view to provide more detail.

The option Traffic Map provides the map for your covered area and shows all traffic incidents with their relevant color codes.
