Enabling the inReach Remote Widget on Garmin Outdoor Watches

Garmin watches control paired inReach devices by using the inReach Remote widget. The steps below will help you add inReach Remote widget to your watch.

Enabling and Adding the inReach Remote 

fenix 6 and Newer Models

These steps apply to D2 Delta series, Descent Mk2 series, Enduro series, fenix 6 series, tactix Delta series, MARQ series, Quatix 6 series, and Forerunner 945. For these watches, the inReach Remote widget will be automatically enabled and added when an inReach device is paired to the watch. 

  1. Hold MENU
  2. Select Sensors & Accessories
  3. Select Add New
  4. Select inReach
  5. Bring watch near the inReach handheld to pair
  6. Press OK on the watch when the inReach handheld is found
    NOTE: If verification is enabled on the handheld, a code will appear on the watch.
  7. Complete pairing on the handheld

The inReach Remote widget will now show in the widget loop of your Garmin watch. 


fenix 5 Plus and Older ModelsThe inReach Remote widget is included in the widget loop by default. To access the inReach Remote widget or add it to the widget loop if it was removed, use steps in the owner's manual for your watch model.
