Editing a Course Using Garmin Connect Web

Once you have saved courses in Garmin Connect you can edit your courses as needed.

To edit a course in Garmin Connect web

1. Sign into Garmin Connect from a personal computer

2. Select Training in the navigation bar on the left

3. Select Courses

4. Select the course you would like to edit

5. Select  (bottom right)

6. Select Edit

7. Make the desired changes:

   • Click on the map to place additional points

   • Click and drag an existing point in the course to a different area of the map to reshape the course

   • Right-click a point and select Delete to remove a point from the course (this will not change the shape of the course). Mac users that do not have a right-click button can use Control click (see How to right-click on Mac).

   • Select Undo to reverse the last change made to the course

   • Select the Pencil Icon to change the name of the course

     • When naming courses, keep in mind that most devices have a limit where they only look at the first 15 characters in the name of a course. If there are multiple courses where the first 15 characters are the same the device will think they are the same course. To work around this limitation, make sure the names vary within the first 15 characters.

8. Select Save Changes
