Creating a Waypoint in the ActiveCaptain Application
The ActiveCaptain application can be used for route and trip planning. The user has the ability to create waypoints based on coordinates or simply by selecting a location on the chart.
Creating a Waypoint
| 1. | Open the ActiveCaptain application |  |
| 2. | Select the Tools option on the Chart page |  |
| 3. | Select the Waypoint icon to create a waypoint |  |
| 4. | By default, the waypoint created will be your located at your current position. Edit the Latitude and Longitude to create a waypoint at any other desired location. Note: If the coordinate format does not match the ActiveCaptain application format, change the position format setting under Settings>Units>Position |  |
