Audio Cuts Out When Using My Jabra Headphones with My Garmin Music Watch

Some Jabra headphones, such as the Jabra Elite Active 65T, feature an integrated motion sensor that allows them to be paired as headphones or as a foot pod sensor (for cadence and distance readings). When using these types of headphones with a Garmin music watch, you may see a prompt on the watch to "Add FP - Jabra" which, if selected, will also pair the headphones as a foot pod sensor.

Garmin music watches are not able to use both of these connections simultaneously. If both the headphone and foot pod connections have been paired, the foot pod connection will take priority when recording an activity and the headphone connection will disconnect (i.e music playback will stop whenever you try to start an activity). This can be resolved by disabling or removing the "FP - Jabra" sensor from the watch. This setting is typically found under Menu > Settings > Sensors & Accessories (refer to your owner's manual for specific instructions).
