Changing the Bluetooth Friendly Name on an Automotive Device

The Friendly Name is displayed by the Bluetooth device when it is trying to pair.

To change the Friendly Name:

1. Touch Tools
   • Some devices will not use this step
2. Touch Settings
3. Touch Bluetooth or Wireless Networks
4. Touch Friendly Name
   • Touch Edit under Friendly Name on some devices
5. Type in the desired Friendly Name for the device
6. Touch Done

The Bluetooth Friendly Name will now be changed.
