Set Default Settings in Windows 10 To Open .GPX Files In BaseCamp

Depending on the default settings on your Windows 10 computer, you may want to change them to open .GPX files in BaseCamp as the default.  

To do this, follow the steps below:

1. Open the file explorer and locate a GPX file

2. Right-click on the GPX file

3. Choose Properties

4. Choose Change

5. Choose More Apps

6. Choose to Look for another app on this PC
   

7. Select the Windows C: drive

8. Choose Program Files (X86)

9. Choose Garmin

10. Choose Basecamp

11. Choose basecamp.exe

12. Choose Open

13. Choose Apply

14. Choose OK

GPX files will open in BaseCamp as default.
