Force Trolling Motor Won’t Steer

If the Force Trolling Motor will not steer, check the following: 

• • Verify pedal / remote / plotter are paired to system and try to turn.
    • Hear any noises while it doesn’t turn (i.e. gear grinding)?
      • Yes
        • Contact Marine Product Support.
      • No
        • Check power to the system.
        • Re-pair the pedal and remote then try steering again.
        • Check the Force system status light  (see related content).
