Not Receiving Custom Alerts During Workouts

Alerts that you have set for a structured workout have precedence over custom alerts set on the device. When you are using the workout feature, any custom alerts you have created, such eating or drinking or a proximity alert, that are not part of the workout will not occur. Once you have stopped the workout, and either discarded or saved the activity, your custom alerts will resume as normal.

NOTE: If you are performing a workout on your device that includes an intensity target, such as a pace or heart rate range, your device will alert you when you are outside of that intensity target and when you enter or re-enter that target range. These alerts cannot be disabled.
