Sending a Point of Interest to a Garmin Device Using Apple Maps

When using Apple Maps for iOS, you can select a point of interest or use pin drop navigation to navigate to that location using a compatible Garmin device. To reveal a complete list of compatible models, select the option below.

NOTE: This feature is only compatible when using Apple Maps on an Apple iPhone® mobile digital device.

Steps to Send Map Location:

  1. Open the Maps app for your iOS device.

  2. Select a Point of Interest or drop a pin at the location you want.

  3. Select black square with an arrow pointing out of the top edge.

  4. Select the Garmin Connect™ App.

    • If the app is not a listed option, ensure that you have installed the latest version of the app from the App Store.

  5. Select the compatible device you would like to send the location to. 

  6. Sync the device with Garmin Connect.

How Do I Begin Navigation on My Device?

Navigating to your point of interest will vary by device model. Refer to the Navigation section of your owner's manual.
