Uninstall Garmin Maps from the Computer

Garmin map products may be removed from a computer if they are no longer needed or to free up disk space. Each map product and version will be listed individually and can be uninstalled separately.

To remove maps

Windows:

1. 1. On the keyboard, press the Windows key + R key together
   2. In the text box, type appwiz.cpl
   3. Click OK
   4. Right-click the map product to uninstall
   5. Click Uninstall

Mac OS X:

1. 1. Open Finder
   2. Open Applications
   3. Open Garmin MapManager
   4. Click the map product to uninstall
   5. In the lower-left corner, click the gear icon
   6. Click Delete map
   7. In the pop-up window, click Delete
   8. Enter your Mac User Name and Password if requested

Once these steps are completed, the product will be uninstalled from the computer.

NOTE: If you uninstall all map products from your computer, this will prevent BaseCamp from functioning properly. The solution for this is to simply reinstall BaseCamp from the following page: https://www.garmin.com/en-US/software/basecamp/
