Deleting Messages in the Garmin Messenger App

Individual messages or entire message threads can be deleted in the Garmin Messenger app on iOS and Android.

NOTE: Messages also need to be deleted from any paired inReach device and the Garmin Explore website for them to be truly deleted. For additional steps, refer to Deleting Messages in your owner's manual and Deleting Data and Messages From the Garmin Explore Website.

Deleting Individual Messages

1. Open the Garmin Messenger app.
2. Select Messages .
3. Select a message thread.
4. Select an individual message.
5. Select  or  in the top right.
6. Select Delete.

Deleting Entire Message Threads

1. Open the Garmin Messenger app.
2. Select Messages .
   
   • iOS: Swipe a message thread to the left
   • Android: Select and hold on a message thread
3. Select Delete or .
