If you are unable to log into your account at inreach.garmin.com you may cancel service by submitting a request at inreach.garmin.com. Your request must include the email address the service is activated under, the billing address of the credit card used on the account, the IMEI number of the device and must specifically state that you wish to CANCEL service.
Failure to submit the proper information can delay the implementation of your cancellation request.
Effective cancellation date of requests submitted to Garmin can be up to two business days after submission.
In the event of your Cancellation of an Annual Service plan, at the option of InReach, your account will either (1) be billed at the time of cancellation for the remaining amounts due on your service plan, or (2) be billed for a one-time downgrade fee, and an amount equal to the fees for the remaining term of the service plan at the lowest then available rate.
Note: If you choose to cancel service on a Freedom plan and then choose to activate again later you will be assessed another Annual Freedom Fee. Choose to Suspend** instead if you want to continue service again later.
Cancel* In regards to the inReach Service Plan, this is to put your device in a "deactivated" state where it will no longer function on the Iridium Network. Unlike with a Suspended device, devices that are cancelled most likely would incur additional fees for activation (Either and Activation Fee or Annual Plan Fee based on the plan chosen at activation) ###Warning: SOS services will not work for devices that are suspended. ###
Suspend** In regards to the inReach Service Plan, this is to put your device in a "stopped" state where it will no longer function on the Iridium Network. Generally devices can be un-suspended/reactivated without incurring additional fees. ###Warning: SOS services will not work for devices that are suspended. ###
