Searching for an Address or Location in a Different City or State on an Automotive Device

1. Touch Where To?

2. Touch the Searching near,  button, or location box

3. Touch A Different City

4. Spell the name of the city only

5. Touch the green magnifying glass or the desired city name in the blue search results

6. Confirm the desired city and state

Now that the city and state are set, you may continue the address search as described in the steps below, or search by category.  

Alternatively, you may use the quick-search bar at the top of the Where To? menu to enter the entire address all at once.

Please refer to the devices' owner's manual for instructions on entering coordinates.

3. Enter the house number

4. Touch Done

5. Enter the street name

6. Touch Next

7. Touch the Searching near,  button, or location box

8. Enter the desired state

   • You may also enter a city or a city/state combination.

9. Touch Done

10. Confirm the desired state

The device will now search for matching addresses within the specified city and/or state.

3. Enter your search

   • To search for a type of business, enter a category name (for example, "movie theaters".

   • To search for a business name, enter all or part of the name.

   • To search for an address near you, enter the house number and street name.

   • To search for an address in another city, enter the house number, street name, city, and state.

   • To search for a city, enter the city and state.

   • To search for coordinates, enter latitude and longitude coordinates.

4. Touch the green Magnifying Glass to search

The device will now search for locations matching your search.
