For most mass storage handhelds, this includes deleting geocaches.
NOTE: Older mass storage outdoor handheld models (including Colorado® and Oregon® 200/300/400 series) cannot delete geocaches via Garmin BaseCamp™ software. These handhelds require the .GPX file for the unneeded geocache be deleted instead. Geocaches that are part of a pocket query are stored in a single .GPX file so deleting the .GPX file for an unneeded geocache results in losing all geocaches in that pocket query. Deleting Geocaches on Windows
Plug your handheld into the computer.
Launch Garmin BaseCamp™.
Locate your handheld under Devices from the left-hand panel.
Select the Internal Storage folder beneath the name of your handheld.
Right-click on the desired geocache.
Select Delete.
Wait for a green check mark to appear on top of the Internal Storage folder.
Repeat steps 5-8 for any additional geocaches you wish to delete.
When finished, right-click Internal Storage.
Select Eject.
Wait for your handheld to disappear from Garmin BaseCamp™.
Unplug your handheld from the computer.
Your handheld will no longer contain the geocache(s).
Deleting Geocaches on Mac
Plug your handheld into the computer.
Launch GarminBaseCamp™ program.
Locate your handheld under My Garmin Devices from the left-hand panel.
Select the name of your handheld.
Hold the control button on your keyboard and click on the desired geocache.
Select Delete.
Repeat steps 6-7 for any additional geocaches you wish to delete.
Empty the Trash of your Mac.
When finished, hold the control button on your keyboard and click on the handheld shown in Garmin BaseCamp™.
Select Eject.
Wait for the handheld to disappear from Garmin BaseCamp™.
Unplug your handheld from the computer.
Your handheld will no longer contain the geocache(s).
