I Am Unable to Sync or Connect My vivosmart 4 to the Garmin Connect App
Garmin is aware of an issue where the vivosmart 4 either is not connecting to the Garmin Connect app or displays an error message when syncing. A fix for this issue was released in a software update for the watch.
How do I install the update?
Updates are automatically installed when your watch is paired to the Garmin Connect app. If you wish to manually check for and install a software update you will need the following:
- A personal computer
- The USB cable that came with your watch
- Garmin Express installed onto the computer
- Email address tied to your Garmin Connect account
- Garmin Connect password
Once you add the watch to the Garmin Express program it will automatically check for and offer to install an available updates.
