Displaying the position or coordinates in a data field on the Map page of a GPSMAP 172/178

To display the latitude and longitude in the data field on a GPSMAP 172 or 178 series device, please follow these instructions:

1. Press the Menu button when on the Map page
2. Highlight Page Layout and press the Enter button
3. Highlight Large (1 Row) or Huge (1 Row) and press the Enter button
4. After selecting the data field size, press the Quit button
5. Highlight Change Numbers and press the Enter button
6. Highlight the data field that is to display the coordinate and press the Enter button
7. Highlight Position and press the Enter button
8. Press the Quit button

At this point the data field will display the latitude and longitude.
