How to View Charts on Garmin Units Without a Preprogrammed Card (ActiveCaptain)

Garmin Navionics+™ and Garmin Navionics Vision+™ Charts Purchased Through ActiveCaptain® App

Before Viewing Charts on Compatible Garmin Chartplotters via ActiveCaptain App

1. Be sure the Garmin unit and ActiveCaptain app are registered to the same account
2. Create an ActiveCaptain card
   
3. Download chart details for desired area on ActiveCaptain app

To Transfer Charting From the ActiveCaptain App to Compatible Garmin Chartplotter

1. Insert ActiveCaptain card in unit 
2. Connect your Garmin plotter to the ActiveCaptain app: Connecting the ActiveCaptain App with a Compatible Garmin Device
3. The ActiveCaptain app will automatically sync the charts to the Garmin unit when connected to its Wi-Fi network
   

NOTE: Only map areas downloaded in ActiveCaptain app will transfer to the Garmin unit.
