How to View Charts on Garmin Units Without a Preprogrammed Card (ActiveCaptain)
Garmin Navionics+™ and Garmin Navionics Vision+™ Charts Purchased Through ActiveCaptain® App
Before Viewing Charts on Compatible Garmin Chartplotters via ActiveCaptain App
- Be sure the Garmin unit and ActiveCaptain app are registered to the same account
- Create an ActiveCaptain card
- Download chart details for desired area on ActiveCaptain app
To Transfer Charting From the ActiveCaptain App to Compatible Garmin Chartplotter
- Insert ActiveCaptain card in unit
- Connect your Garmin plotter to the ActiveCaptain app: Connecting the ActiveCaptain App with a Compatible Garmin Device
- The ActiveCaptain app will automatically sync the charts to the Garmin unit when connected to its Wi-Fi network
NOTE: Only map areas downloaded in ActiveCaptain app will transfer to the Garmin unit.
