Updating the Software on the dēzl Headset 100 and dēzl Headset 200

The dēzl™ Headset 100 and dēzl™ Headset 200 Premium Trucking Headsets can only be updated using the dēzl™ App.  

NOTE: Do not turn off the headset while an update is installing. 

  • When an update is available, the dēzl™ app sends it to the headset automatically.
  • The next time you start your headset, it notifies you that it is installing an update.
  • Or, you can start the update manually in the dēzl™ app:

 

  • During the update, the Power LED light on the headset will stay illuminated.
  • The update takes a couple moments and the headset won't function while updating.
  • A progress bar will show in the dēzl™ app during the update.
  • After the update is complete, each LED light on the headset will illuminate, then the headset restarts and operates normally.

For the dēzl™ Headset Software Version:

  1. From the dēzl™ app, select Settings
  2. The software version will be listed
  3. Select Check for Updates to see if an update is available
