Can I get a Domestic Phone Number for my GSR 56 Iridium Phone?

Each GSR 56 is manufactured with an Iridium SIM card and each has their own Iridium phone number assigned from the factory.  Currently, there is no way to change your Iridium phone number to a domestic phone number for the country you live. 

However, if you live in the US or Canada, you can have two-stage dialing enabled.  Two-stage dialing would allow you to call a phone number in Arizona (1-480-768-2500) and be redirected to enter the Iridium phone number (8816) of the aircraft.
