Creating a Waypoint on the eTrex HC Series

Waypoints are locations that you can mark (save in memory) as destinations to navigate to later on the eTrex HC series.¹

Marking a Waypoint

1. Press in and hold the Thumb Stick for two seconds to display the Mark Waypoint page.
2. Your current location is marked as a waypoint and the eTrex automatically assigns a numeric name to it. With 'OK' highlighted, press in the Thumb Stick to save the waypoint.
   

The waypoint is now stored in the eTrex's memory.
