Enabling or Disabling Demo Mode on the zumo R1 Radar

The zumo R1 Radar has a demo mode for testing the indicators and wiring to ensure everything is set up correctly. This can be enabled or disabled from the settings in either the zūmo™ Radar app, or on the Tread® 2 GPS navigator or zūmo® XT2 GPS navigator.

In the zūmo Radar App on a Mobile Device:

1. Touch the Wrench icon in the top right corner of the screen
   
2. Select the paired zumo R1 Radar
   
3. Scroll down, and select Demo Mode
   
   
4. Select Yes to enter demo mode
   
   

Returning to the Radar display will show simulated vehicles approaching the icon on screen. The indicators will light up accordingly, allowing you to see how the indicators behave as well as ensuring that the radar is connected properly.

To exit demo mode, repeat the above steps. Demo mode will now be disabled for normal use.

In the zūmo Radar app on a Tread 2 or zūmo XT2:

1. Touch the Wrench icon in the top right corner of the screen
   
2. Touch the Menu icon in the top left corner of the screen
   
3. Touch Demo Mode
   
   
4. Touch Yes
   
   

Demo mode is now enabled. Returning to the Radar display will show simulated vehicles approaching the icon on screen. The indicators will light up accordingly, allowing you to see how the indicators behave as well as ensuring the radar is connected properly. 

To exit demo mode, touch the X at the bottom right corner of the Radar display, and touch Yes.
