What Maps are Preloaded on my Automotive Device?

North American automotive devices will come with different preloaded maps depending on the model.

• Some models will have more than one version with different preloaded maps.
• For example, one version of the Garmin Drive 51LM is preloaded with the US and Canada maps and another version is preloaded with only the US maps.

Your device is preloaded with either the Lower 49 States (all of the US except Alaska) or US and Canada (all of the US including Alaska and Canada).

To Verify the Preloaded maps on your Device:

• The easiest way to determine the maps you have is to check the box your device came in, which includes a picture of the preloaded mapping.
• See the owner's manual of your device for instructions to check the current map coverage installed.
  • See Reinstall or Change Map on an Automotive Device if your device does not have the complete preloaded maps installed.
