Using the Rep Counter to Track a Leg Workout with a Garmin Outdoor Watch
Compatible Outdoor watches offer a Rep Counting feature that can be used to track reps during a Strength Training activity. These watches will use steady motion and cadence to automatically identify and track common exercises.
There are instances where the user may want to use the watch to track exercises where the arm may not pick up the motion of the exercise, for example leg presses. In this situation, the timer can be started and after completing a set, the reps can be manually entered on the watch during the rest period.
