Changing Which Tank or Engine Number a Garmin GFS 10 is Connected to

Changing the tank or engine number can only be done when a GFS 10 is connected to a Garmin chartplotter.

The serial number of each GFS 10 is shown on the NMEA 2000 Device List configuration menu to help differentiate between multiple GFS 10 devices.

To change the option of how many fuel tanks or engines that are being used, follow the below steps:

1. Power ON the chartplotter

2. Select I Agree when the Warning Screen appears

3. Select Settings / Configure

4. Select Communications

5. Select NMEA 2000 Setup

6. Select Device List

7. Select the GFS 10 and press the Review button (if applicable)

8. Select either Tank Number or Engine Number and adjust to match the boat's setup

   • If Tank Number or Engine Number are not present, choose Sensor Number and then they will appear
