Unable to Enter Garmin Connect Credentials in Garmin Express

In some cases, the following issues may occur after clicking "Create an Account" or "Sign In" in the Garmin Express™ program:

  • Garmin Express displays a blank page.

  • Sign in or account creations fields for the Garmin Connect™ platform are displayed correctly, but it is not possible to type in them.

  • Content is improperly displayed in the Garmin Express window.

  • Garmin Express displays an error "An unexpected error has occurred and Garmin Express must close. If you continue to experience this, contact Garmin customer support".

If this occurs, the program will be unable to pair a Garmin device to Garmin Connect.

How Do I Resolve This Issue? 

You will need to ensure the compatibility mode is disabled on your computer.

1. Right-click on the Garmin Express installer file.

2. Select Properties.

3. Select the Compatibility tab.

4. Select Change settings for all users.

5. Ensure that all boxes are unchecked.

6. Select OK.

Update the computer's display drivers to the latest version available from the manufacturer
