Getting Started with inReach on a Compatible Alpha Dog Tracking Handheld

inReach® is a way to stay in touch with friends and family using a two way messaging system that works 100% off of a global Iridium satellite network. When necessary you can trigger an interactive SOS message with your GPS coordinates to our 24/7 Garmin emergency response center. Before you can use the messaging and SOS functions on your inReach® compatible Alpha® handheld, you must create an account and activate a service plan. NOTE: With Alpha® handhelds we recommend the Garmin Messenger™ app for inReach use.
