WebUpdater Error: There Was a Problem Communicating with the Garmin Site Please Make Sure your Internet Explorer Proxy Servers are Correct

If you experience an error when trying to update the software on your Garmin dog tracking device with Garmin WebUpdater:

"There was a problem communicating with the Garmin site please make sure your internet explorer proxy servers are correct."

  1. It is likely you have Anti-virus software that is blocking our connection. 
    • It is advised to first disable your anti-virus software, and try to update with WebUpdater again. 
    • To turn off/disable your Anti-virus software, please refer to the antivirus producer for guidance. 
  2. If that doesn't work, you should then check to make sure proxy settings are correct.
