Changing the Dashboard on Touchscreen Outdoor Handhelds

On outdoor handhelds with touchscreens, there are custom groupings of data, known as dashboards, that can be helpful. There are many different dashboard options to choose from, some being for specific applications, such as the Geocache dashboard, while others are more general, like the Recreational dashboard. Dashboards can be located on the Map, Compass, Trip Computer and on the Main Menu.

Changing the Main Menu¹ Dashboard

1. Open the application drawer.²
2. Select Setup.
3. Scroll down and select Main Menu.
4. Select the Menu icon.
5. Select Change Dashboard.
6. Select a dashboard of your choice.

¹ The Main Menu is only available on the Rino® 750 series, Oregon® 700 series, and eTrex® Touch outdoor handhelds when the devices are in Classic Mode. Refer to your device's owner's manual for instructions on enabling Classic Mode.

Map Dashboard

Changing the Map Dashboard

1. While viewing the map, select the Menu icon.
2. Select Setup Map.
3. Select Dashboard.
4. Select a dashboard of your choice.

Showing or Hiding the Map Dashboard

Once a dashboard has been chosen for the Map page, it can be quickly hidden or shown by selecting or near the top of the map.

Changing the Dashboard on the Trip Computer and Compass Page

1. While viewing the Trip Computer or Compass page, select the Menu icon.
2. Select Change Dashboard.
3. Select a dashboard of your choice.

Now your dashboard settings will be saved to that profile and page.
