Updating the preloaded BlueChart g2 mapping in a GPSMAP 492, 498, 22xx, 32xx series chartplotter
The following devices will not have any future updates to the preloaded BlueChart g2 mapping:
- GPSMAP 492
- GPSMAP 498
- GPSMAP 2206
- GPSMAP 2210
- GPSMAP 3205
- GPSMAP 3206
- GPSMAP 3210
Originally, a Garmin Data Card preloaded with updated BlueChart g2 mapping could be purchased and used with these devices. However, those cards have now been discontinued and are no longer available. The last update for this format was released in the Fall of 2014.
