Troubleshooting Issues Viewing HuntView Maps
HuntView mapping provides detailed land owner information that you can view during your hunt. Some common issues you may experience if the map is not displaying properly:
- No land owner detail showing (this feature is dependent on availability for your region)
- No BirdsEye Imagery showing
- Receiving an invalid JNX error when turning the device on
- No map detail at all
Items to Check to Resolve Issues Displaying HuntView Maps
- Confirm compatibility with your Garmin by visiting the HuntView Plus product page.
- Ensure your Garmin's software is up to date. For steps, see - Installing Software Updates to Outdoor Handhelds.
- Ensure the HuntView mapping is enabled. For steps to disable or enable maps, refer to your owner's manual.
- Try zooming in and out on the map.
- If you are only seeing satellite imagery, you may need to disable the imagery in your map settings. For steps, see - Disable the BirdsEye Satellite Imagery When Using HuntView Maps.
