Using the Screen Lock Feature on an Outdoor Touchscreen Device

To prevent the touch screen on outdoor touchscreen device from registering an inadvertent touch you can lock the display.

To do this:

1. Tap the Power button
2. Select Lock Screen*

The screen is now locked. It will need to be unlocked to access the main menu again.

To Unlock the Screen:

1. Tap the Power button
2. Select Unlock Screen*

At this point the screen is no longer locked and you can use it regularly.

*On the Oregon® 600 and 700 series outdoor handhelds these appear at the bottom of the screen as a padlock icon.
