How to Edit or Delete Garmin Explore Locations on an Automotive Device

Garmin Explore Data

To Edit an Explore Waypoint

NOTE: Reference the To Edit a Waypoint section within How to Search, Save, Edit, or Delete Locations on an Automotive Device if Garmin Explore has not been activated.

1. Touch Where To

2. Touch Waypoints

3. Touch the location you would like to edit

 

4. Touch Edit

 

5. Touch the information you would like to change

 

6. Touch Done 

To Delete an Explore Waypoint

NOTE: Reference the To Delete a Waypoint section within How to Search, Save, Edit, or Delete Locations on an Automotive Device for information if Garmin Explore has not been activated.

1. Touch Where To

2. Touch Waypoints

 

3. Locate and touch the waypoint you would like to delete

  

4. Touch Edit  

5. Touch Delete

 

6. Touch Yes

  

The selected waypoint(s) will now be deleted.

To Delete Multiple Explore Waypoints

NOTE: Reference the To Delete a Waypoint section within How to Search, Save, Edit, or Delete Locations on an Automotive Device if Garmin Explore has not been activated. 

1. Touch Where To

2. Touch Waypoints

 

3. Touch the Three Vertical Dots

4. Touch Select and Edit

 

5. Locate and touch the waypoints you would like to delete

  

6. Touch the Trash icon   

7. Touch Yes

  

The selected waypoint(s) will now be deleted.

To add an Explore Waypoint to a Collection 

1. Select Explore
2. Select the top bar to choose Waypoints
3. Select Waypoints
4. Select a waypoint
5. Select Collections
6. Select the collection to add it to 
7. Select Done

When using the Tread® series devices, it is recommended to use the Tread® App to create and manage waypoints, routes, and tracks.
