Viewing HuntView Maps while in BaseStation Mode

Garmin dog tracking handhelds like the Alpha® 100, Alpha® 200, Alpha® 200i, and Astro® 430 can live track dogs and contacts on a compatible laptop computer in our BaseCamp™ software using the BaseStation Mode. Many optional premium mapping products like the HuntView Plus on microSD card, can potentially display on the computer while in live tracking mode.

Displaying HuntView Maps Using BaseStation Mode in BaseCamp™

• The HuntView Plus microSD card must be inserted into a card reader separate from the handheld
• Once the handheld is connected and set to BaseStation Mode, the mapping will automatically display in the BaseCamp™ program
• The different map layers in HuntView Plus are chosen in BaseCamp™ software via the Maps menu
  1. In BaseCamp™, click Maps
  2. Select the map product you wish to display
