Chart Installer Error: Card is Full/Not Enough Space on Card

If you are receiving a message that "Your card is full", this could be for a few different reasons.

Your card may be full from downloading chart data, or, you may have data other than Navionics® chart files on your card.  In this case, it's important to make sure you have not saved any other data to your Navionics plotter card.  This could be files such as routes/waypoints, sonar logs, plotter update files, or screen shots. Look for files on your main card directory that have extension such as .usr, .hwr, .dat, .fsh, .son, etc.

Card files showing a data.usr file highlighted.

If there are no other files on your plotter card, and you are on a Mac computer, it will place a Trash file folder on your Navionics card. Though the file should not effect how the card is read by the GPS/plotter/sounder, it can create an error when trying to download coverage.

If you have purged the chart information from your card on your Mac computer, make sure to empty the Trash bin from your computer's dock.
