Wiring Fusion Speakers in Parallel (2 ohm) Configuration

4 ohm Fusion speakers can be wired in parallel. This lowers the resistance to 2 ohms and allows the speakers to receive more power from the connected zone or channel.

Before installing speakers, check that the speakers power draw will not exceed the amplifier / stereo's output. Also check that the amplifier / stereo output will not exceed the peak power of the speakers. Otherwise, damage to the products may occur.

To wire two 4 ohm Fusion speakers in parallel, the negative terminals of the two speakers should be connected to one wire and the positive terminals to another. The combined wires will then be connected to their respective terminals on the stereo or amplifier as usual.

A stereo must be 2-ohm stable to have speakers connected this way. If a stereo is 2-ohm stable, it will say in the owner's manual.
