Can I use a Joystick with the G1000 PC Trainer?
Yes, however, it is important to ensure that the external joystick axis configuration is verified once the G1000 PC trainer is launched.
Follow the Steps below with Either the PFD or MFD Screens Open:
- Click on Options at the top of the page.
- Select Joystick Axis Configuration.
- Ensure that the Use Keyboard For Joystick box is not selected.
Ensuring that the keyboard is not being used to drive the simulator should allow the G1000 PC trainer to be used with a joystick that is connected to the computer.
