Correct Vector Pedal Pod Orientation

The orientation of the pedal pods on the cranks does not impact Vector’s accuracy.

Garmin does, however strongly recommend to install the pedal pods pointed down, when each crank is in the forward horizontal position. This ensures the pedal pod is away from the shoe when the cyclist clips in/out of the pedals.

Make sure you are guiding the pedal pod away, about 90° from the crank while tightening the pedal, like in this picture.

It is best to avoid contact with the crank, like in this picture, to avoid damaging the pedal pods.
