ETXv3 and VEX™ Enclosed Speaker System Wiring

ETXv3 and VEX™ enclosed speaker systems use a multi-function cable that contains six separate wire conductors.

The larger, 16 AWG wires are used for speaker audio (+ and -). The smaller, 20 AWG wires are used for the LED lighting in illuminated models.

Please refer to the tables below for wire functions:

Note: The red, green, blue, and yellow wires will not be used in non-illuminated models. RGB models can be hard wired for a single RGB color, or an optional RGB lighting controller (such as our MLC-RW) can be installed for full RGB control.
