Pro 550 Plus and BaseCamp Compatibility

The Pro 550 Plus will not connect to BaseCamp™ software to display any information.  If detailed dog track information is desired, the dog collar device can be connected to a computer.  Once connected, the collar's detailed track data can be viewed without requiring the assistance of a handheld device. 

An easier method of tracking Pro 550 Plus information is to use it in conjunction with the Garmin Explore app. See related content below.

Required items:

• BaseCamp software is installed and up to date
• Charging clip for the collar
• USB cable for collar depending on charging clip

Transferring tracks from the collar:

1. Attach charging clip to the collar
   • Plug USB cable to charging clip if necessary
     
2. Plug USB cable into computer
3. Wait for status light to change Red-Green-Red
   
4. Launch BaseCamp program
   
5. Wait for BaseCamp program to load data
   
6. Select Internal Storage under the device listed
   • For all track data: click Edit and then Select All  or press Ctrl+A on the keyboard
   • For an individual track: click desired track
7. Right-click under Internal Storage or click Edit
8. Click Send To
   
9. Click My Collection
   
10. Click OK

The data will now be backed up to My Collection.
